I’ve written a number of articles recently about the challenges field service organizations are facing with recruiting and hiring. I think it is clear that the only way past this problem is for field service organizations to diversify, and to make field service a more welcoming environment for all skilled and capable potential hires. The question, then, is how do we do this? Much of what keeps field service organizations from being diverse is deeply engrained and often not even done consciously.
