Industrial Augmented Reality Wearable For Field Service

Designed for safe operation in rugged and Ex-certified environments, the Onsight Cube industrial wearable provides HD optical and thermal imaging analysis. In addition to head worn applications, the multi-purpose form factor also provides access to visuals in hard to reach locations with a monopod or hand-held use.

In this video, a rig worker, Kyle, is conducting an initial pipe gauge inspection. Using his Ex-certified smartphone, he completes the first section of the inspection using digital work instructions through Onsight Flow. With the Onsight Cube worn on his hardhat, he then shares live HD and thermal visuals and collaborates hands-free with an offsite engineer to confirm findings.

When Kyle needs to get up-close, he quickly detaches the Cube from his hardhat and gets close-up visuals of the asset. The pictures and video recordings are automatically uploaded the secure content management system, Onsight Workspace, for future analysis and record-keeping.
