Tablets enable hands-free fleet management that has helped a service organization double its clientele.
The Columbus Center for Human Services (CCHS) takes its fleet operations seriously; it has to, because thousands of clients depend on the organization’s vehicles for their basic transportation needs. The Columbus, Ohio-based organization provides support services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including transportation services across four counties in central Ohio. Within the last year, CCHS has increased its transportation capacity while improving route efficiency, reducing fuel costs, and increasing productivity using a GPS-based fleet management and dispatch solution.
