AAustin Express is a family-owned transportation company that’s been in business for 40 years. The company started with one truck and now has more than 25 locations and 450 vehicles in use. As the company grew, it began to recognize the need to track its assets to ensure proper utilization. With 25 offices in seven states, the corporate office in Michigan was lacking valuable visibility into the day-to-day happenings of its business. AAustin initially began tracking through Excel spreadsheets, but that manual method presented challenges both in being time-intensive and error-prone.
