Wireless Solutions Make Huge Changes In The Healthcare Industry

Integrated Business Systems and Services, Inc. today unveiled and announced the immediate availability of its new intelligent tracking application pruduct, SynTrack.

Enabled by IBSS' Synapse application development and deployment technology, SynTrack is initially bundled to aid the healthcare industry in reducing cost and improving patient uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to efficiently manage hospital staff and equipment, and enables healthcare professionals to benefit from improved asset management.

SynTrack uses RFID tags to track in real-time the location of assets and personnel at any given time. Healthcare workers can electronically locate any asset and person in the medical facility or on the campus, freeing up time to better care for patients. Type of assets that may be tracked using SynTrack include infusion pumps, ultarsound equipment, portable cardiac monitors, ventilators, monitoring equipment, wheelcahirs, gurneys and diagnostic equipment, and other medical tools and technologies.
