Wireless Matrix Extends Services Contract With National Pay Television Customer
Two-year Extension for FleetOutlook Vehicle Tracking Services Deployed on 4,700 Vehicles
Wireless Matrix Corporation announced recently that it has signed a two-year contract extension providing services to a Pay Television customer's national fleet of service technicians. Under the extension, Wireless Matrix will continue to provide FleetOutlook GPS fleet tracking to the customer. Approximately 4,700 vehicles are equipped with Wireless Matrix GPS hardware devices. The extended agreement includes system integration with customer's workforce management application. The extension provides for services with the customer to June 2013.
The customer has already attained extensive benefits within its operations since the initial deployment of FleetOutlook. These include reduced operating expenses, more effective dispatching and implementation of driver self-reporting that provides significant time savings for technicians. In addition, Wireless Matrix also provides FleetOutlook services to several of this customer's technical contractors, further extending these operational benefits throughout the customer's operational footprint.
