Wireless Matrix Deepens Management Team With Appointment Of Mohan Rao as Chief Technology Officer

Wireless Matrix, a leading provider of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) solutions, has appointed Mohan Rao to the newly-created position of chief technology officer. Mohan, who brings 18 years of extensive technology and software industry experience, will oversee the company's product development initiatives and report directly to President and CEO J. Richard Carlson.

The announcement follows the recent appointments of Al Milligan as COO and Barbara Lyon as vice president, customer operations.

"Mohan's acquisition integration experience will guide engineering strategies as Wireless Matrix evolves its software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model," said Carlson. "His experience developing, implementing, and enhancing scalable software solutions will be instrumental in delivering the next generation of our FleetOutlook applications. We are truly excited to have someone with his stellar background joining the team."

Prior to joining Wireless Matrix, Rao spent over five years in a boutique management and technology consulting firm specialized in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and complex business integration. During his tenure as a management consultant at Deloitte & Touche, he helped telecom clients integrate their existing IT infrastructure and platforms with new technologies acquired through mergers and acquisitions.

Rao also previously served as CTO of Career Rewards, Inc., where he oversaw development of the company's Software-as-a-Service applications and technology roadmap.
