WEROCK Technologies GmbH, innovative manufacturer of rugged tablets, notebooks and mobile data collection devices, presents the Rocktab U212 Pro, a powerful solution for mobile use. The Rocktab U212 Pro expands the existing Ultra Rugged Tablet series and impresses with an 11.6″ Full HD display and an Intel Core processor. Suitable for demanding applications in technical field service, construction planning or industrial maintenance where high computing power and a larger screen area are required.

With the enlarged screen of the Rocktab U212 Pro, WEROCK is responding to customer feedback and the desire for more choice with larger display diagonals and more powerful hardware. The device is equipped with an 11.6″ full HD display with high brightness, which remains easy to read even in direct sunlight and is therefore suitable for outdoor use. The scratch-resistant 10-point multi-touch screen supports operation with gloves – an advantage for applications in logistics, on construction sites or in production.

In addition to the robust touchscreen, the housing has also been designed for durability. The Rocktab U212 Pro can withstand drops from up to 1.5 meters and is protected against dust and water jets in accordance with IP65. For use in demanding conditions – such as in the field, in workshops or on construction sites – the device offers shock, vibration and drop protection for reliable operation. The flat, compact housing weighs just 1.69 kg and enables mobile use, whether on site at the customer’s premises, in the warehouse or in a vehicle.

Performance and mobility are key requirements in the field and for maintenance and service activities. The Rocktab U212 Pro is equipped with a 13th generation Intel Core i5 processor and integrated Intel UHD Graphics. 16 GB RAM and an internal memory of up to 2 TB provide sufficient capacity for extensive data, images and documentation. With an integrated camera, microphone and speakers, the device can also be used flexibly as a mobile office.

The Rocktab U212 Pro can be flexibly expanded for use as a fully-fledged mobile office: The optional docking station – either for the desk or for installation in a vehicle – and other accessories create a customizable workstation. Thanks to the hot-swappable battery, uninterrupted operation is possible even on long working days. An optional digitizer pen is available for precise input, such as digital signatures or technical sketches. Depending on the application, the device can also be optionally equipped with an integrated 1D/2D barcode scanner and mobile radio modules for 4G LTE or 5G.
