As wearable devices become more popular, it’s important for companies to consider the potential security risks.

Wearable technology is just now beginning to make its way into consumers’ lives and was a trending topic at the Consumer Electronics Show this year. But how far away are we from enterprise adoption, and are wearable devices secure enough for businesses to use? Someday soon, wearable technology will present a similar level of security concern that you find now with smartphones and tablets. The difference today is that watches, glasses, and other wearables are a source of information that can only be extracted using another mobile device or from the Internet, as most of the wearable technology needs to sync with smartphones and tablets. This is what can bring about concern for the enterprise.
