Visto Launches Mass Market Mobile E-Mail With Turkcell

Visto Corporation, a leading global provider of secure push mobile e-mail, today announced that Turkcell, the largest mobile communications operator in Turkey, has deployed Visto Mobile with ConstantSync technology to deliver mass market push mobile e-mail services to a customer's wireless device of choice.

Called TurkcellE-Postaci, the new service is a personal mobile e-mail service aimed at mobile phone users. By simply downloading the push e-mail application from the Turkcell website, customers using POP3 e-mail services will immediately be able to send and receive e-mail on their chosen mobile device.

Visto's solutions support the widest range of handsets, allowing Turkcell to offer e-mail across all popular phone platforms, including Symbian S60, S80 and UIQ as well as Microsoft Windows Mobile Smartphone and Pocket PC. The versatility of the Visto Mobile platform enables Turkcell to extend business- class push-based mobile e-mail to the mass market at an affordable price on a compelling choice of devices.

"With more than 26 million, IT-literate, information hungry and youthful voice and data customers who regard e-mail and their mobile phone as their most important means of communication, being able to offer a service as dynamic as TurkcellE-Postaci is important to us" said Cenk Serdar, Chief Value Added Services Officer of Turkcell. "By working closely with Visto to develop TurkcellE-Postaci, we have successfully combined mobile phones and e-mail on one device at an attractive price for our customers."

Visto -- fast becoming the leading provider of secure push-based mobile e-mail -- already provides business-focused mobile mail services across Europe, USA and Asia through major agreements with the Vodafone Group, Sprint- Nextel, and Rogers Wireless among others.

"Turkcell's mass market strategy demonstrates just how far mobile e-mail has evolved in the past 12 months," said Brian Bogosian, chairman, president and CEO of Visto, welcoming Turkcell's move to extend mobile e-mail beyond the large enterprise market. "Mobile operators like Turkcell have their hand on the pulse of the mobile market and understand that mobile e-mail should be made available to all levels of user. Visto has torn down the barriers to mobile e-mail adoption by offering users ease-of-use, an open systems approach and more choice. As a result, we have empowered the mobile operator to reach all corners of the market with a true push e-mail service that addresses a mobile user's business and personal requirements."

"In America, in Europe, and in Asia, Visto is being chosen by the market- leading operators as the mobile e-mail platform of choice."
