ViryaNet Partner Awarded Contract To Implement Mobile Workforce Management Solution

Helps Utility Expedite Scheduling and Dispatch of Energy Services to 158,000 Customers

ViryaNet Limited, a leading provider of software solutions that optimize the planning, execution, and monitoring of service processes for mobile workforces, announced recently that a ViryaNet partner was awarded a contract to implement ViryaNet's mobile workforce management solution for the scheduling and dispatch of Etschwerke Netz AG's energy services to 158,000 customers.

Etschwerke Netz AG generates and distributes electricity, builds and manages power plants and electricity distribution networks, and distributes natural gas.

GRINTEC, a GE implementation partner, will manage the multi-phase implementation, including replacing the existing planning process, simplifying time recording/timesheets, creating target-performance comparisons, and consolidating time management and work allocation in one system.

ViryaNet's mobile workforce management solution (re-branded as FFA by GE) will help Etschwerke Netz AG track work status, better respond to changes in workload, and improve performance measurement.

Based in northern Italy, Etschwerke Netz AG required the ViryaNet solution to support both Italian and German in the user interface and data elements, as well as the ability to search in both languages and switch between languages. With an ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction, continuity, and efficiency, Etschwerke Netz AG will use ViryaNet's solution to continue to serve as a reliable partner to its business and household customers.

"We are excited about the recent GRINTEC win. The continued success of GE and its network of partners helps ViryaNet build a global presence," stated Memy Ish-Shalom, CEO of ViryaNet, "We are committed to helping customers achieve and maintain their positions as market leaders, and the ViryaNet solution can help Etschwerke Netz AG increase efficiency, while improving quality and performance."
