When the business strategy calls for a field deployment of mobile devices, a piece of the puzzle is oftentimes missing. Beyond the initial deployment of the solution, the effectiveness, reliability, and availability of the field device fleet are seldom measured.
Justifying the money, time, and effort expended on a mobile device deployment has also been difficult. Getting the level of reliable data needed from traditional mobile device management software tools was not possible. Many end users have told us their only metric for success was a very subjective view of whether or not the device rollout went as planned.
