The challenges faced by the Asset management team are always discounted and undermined. Assets provide services which are integral part of the day to day life. We cannot imagine being out of power, without water, without gas, without roads, without garbage trucks, without public transport, without logistical support and without city services for a single day. Small disruptions in these services throw life out of balance. In fact it is taken for granted for these services to be available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

This customer expectation makes Asset manager’s job tougher and more challenging.

In most of the developed nations the job has become even tougher with aging infrastructure, rising workforce costs, rising customer expectations and expectation to deliver at lower cost. What a challenge!
