When Wittenbach Business Systems migrated from paper forms and manual dispatching to a mobile computing solution in 2006, the company achieved large gains in efficiency. Five years later, though, it was clear to management that newer technology could provide even more improvements. The new platform has provided real-time visibility of the technician locations, enhanced inventory management in the field, and allowed the company to complete dozens more work orders per day.
