Tesseract Is A 'Valued Partner' To G4S Technology

G4S Technology, the market leading access control and video management company, has been partnered with Tesseract for over 15 years. Using Tesseract’s service management software has helped G4S Technology to grow, diversify and advance, securing its position as a leading international player in the supply of access and security systems.

G4S Technology designs, manufactures, installs and services a range of cutting edge security and access control systems, including video management, card management, biometrics and video analytics. For more than 30 years, G4S Technology has been using these systems to protect everything from small offices to large international conglomerates and government facilities all over the world. Its customers include the National Grid, the Welsh Assembly, Salt Lake City Police Department and the Pentagon, the headquarters of the United States Department of Defence.

In the late 1990s, prior to the implementation of Tesseract’s service management software, GS4 Technology was a UK-only company with 30 engineers. “That’s all changed,” says Paul Edwards, Vice President of IT and Business Systems at G4S Technology. “Today we manage 100 engineers in the UK, 70 engineers in the US and 180 engineers in Brazil, and we’ve delivered 30,000 systems across 80 countries. It’s largely thanks to an industrious partnership with Tesseract over the years.”
