Five HE910 Cellular Module Variants Certified for Use by Canadian Wireless Provider

Featuring an ultra-low profile, Telit’s HE910 module variants are ideal for compact consumer electronic devices and other mobile M2M applications, including e-readers, GPS navigation devices and mobile health devices.

The HE910 family of modules will power M2M solutions and connected devices enabled on Rogers wireless networks. Today, Rogers provides wireless data connectivity to its leading industry solution providers, including Telit, to provide products, services and expert guidance enabling M2M solutions across a broad range of vertical markets, including transportation, retail, oil and gas, government, financial, healthcare, manufacturing and education.

Telit’s HE910 family modules are part of the xE910 form factor family, with all regional and network variants featuring a 28.2 x 28.2 x 2.2mm LGA package and providing an ultra-low profile in the integrated solution.  The Rogers-approved HE910 variants include:

• two modules designed for global deployments, the full-featured HE910 (also known as HE910-G) with HSPA+ data, voice and GPS capabilities, and the HE910-D, offering data-only functionality; and
• three modules designed to serve the North American market, namely the HE910-NAR, with data and voice, the data-only HE910-NAD, and the data- and GPS-enabled HE910-NAG.

These embedded modules are among the smallest and most lightweight on the market today, reducing costs in high-volume applications and in portable devices.  Telit’s HE910 family modules support all five existing frequency bands in 3G mode:  850/900/1700/1900/2100 MHz. The modules also offer ubiquitous 2G coverage with quad band GPRS and EDGE, facilitating worldwide application deployments.
