Leading Belgian Water Utility Streamlines Asset Management Operations with Syclo's SMART Work Manager
Syclo, a leading provider of mobile solutions for workforce automation, announced recently that another large European utility deployed its SMART Work Manager application to streamline field operations. Based in Belgium, TMVW manages water production, distribution and retail for approximately 500,000 customers. The utility turned to Syclo for help in improving multiple work processes, including in-stream infrastructure maintenance, distribution system management and metering operations.
"We have sophisticated SAP ERP and SAP MRS systems to plan and manage our work, but we felt we weren't getting the efficiency we needed using paper forms and manual data capture in the field," said Inge Opreel, Departements manager ICT at TMVW.
