Sybase, Inc. (NYSE: SY), an industry leader in delivering enterprise and mobile software, today announced that in a recent Worldwide Mobile Device Management Enterprise 2009 – 2013 Forecast 2008 Vendor Shares reporti, leading IT market research advisory firm IDC recognized Sybase iAnywhere as the leader in mobile device management enterprise software for the eighth consecutive year.
The report found that the worldwide MDM enterprise market grew by 7% from 2007 to 2008, reaching $260.8 million in revenue. IDC predicts that the market will grow by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.2% over the next five years to reach $405.3 million by 2013.
