Success Story: Anyware Mobile Solutions

Challenge
Anyware sought to optimize its PDA data collection solutions with a synchronization and mobile data management component that would enable anytime web access to information collected by a customer's mobile workforce. The system needed to be agnostic with regards to device technologies, network environments, back-office systems and connectivity options, while also delivering data accurately and securely.

Solution
Partnering with Extended Systems, the company deployed Extended Systems' software as its mobile data synchronization and management component with the newest version of Reform. A patent pending, transaction-based platform, Reform, delivers collected data in real time, allowing clients to view, download and forward reports and evaluate performance in the field. Data collectors using PDAs are able to connect wirelessly or via desktop cradles, or using a wireline modem attached to the handheld device. Anyware customers are also free to select the most appropriate PDA device for their needs and leverage existing network environments, back-office systems and data security measures.

Measure of Success
After the February 27, 2003 national launch of Reform, Anyware has already posted ten deployments and six new channel partners. The total package has proven to be cost-efficient while delivering lasting value, and has enabled Anyware to expand its market reach to a variety of new and potential enterprise customers.
