SSH-Based Terminal Emulation Option Now Available With eSP's Stay-Linked, Thin-Client Wireless Terminal Solution

The market leader in host-based, thin-client wireless terminal emulation, Stay-Linked provides centralized, secure, high-performance wireless access to 5250/3270 and VT100/220 host-based screen applications, with support for a wide range of wireless terminal devices from Symbol, Intermec, AML, PSC, HHP, LXE and other manufacturers.

Stay-Linked's unique Client2Host thin-client architecture inherently eliminates typical security issues associated with Telnet host connectivity. With Stay-Linked, all communication between Telnet Client and Server processes remains internal to the host and is not broadcasted over the user's connection Thin client software running on the user's wireless terminal drives the device's radio, screen, scanner and keyboard, providing encrypted, highly-reliable "remote-control" connectivity with the target host system where the user's Telnet session resides.

By contrast, typical "device-side" Telnet products run the user's Telnet Client session on the remote device and broadcast all user-driven and system-generated dialogue with the host Telnet Server over the wireless connection, and usually in a "clear text" fashion.
