The Provider Enterprises, Inc. contracts with New Hampshire school districts to transport special needs students to and from school. Dispatching the company's 178 buses was cumbersome, requiring use of a radio and constant manual checks to ensure buses with wheelchair lifts were dispatched when necessary. A more efficient routing and dispatch strategy was needed, in addition to the ability to track buses and driver behavior to ensure safe and cost-effective performance.
