IRVING, Texas — August 22, 2007 — SAVR Communications, Inc. is an innovator of cost effective, intelligent, and adaptable radio frequency systems, autonomous track and trace devices, and custom wireless solutions. These products and activities connect physical assets to business systems to enhance their security and utilization, and are focused toward the Specialty Shippers, Port Facilities, Pharmaceuticals, DHS Emergency Responsiveness, Sarbaynes-Oxley Compliance, and M2M (machine-to-machine) sectors.

On June 19, 2007, the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued Patent No.: 7,233,247 to SAVR Communications.

Â"This intellectual property augments nicely our focus on connecting physical assets to business systems, monitoring their activity and effectiveness, and creating a network of assets that improve operational efficiencies in real-timeÂ", said John Crossno, CEO of SAVR Communications.

The Patent (Method and Systems for Employing Radio Frequency Identification Tags in Automated Applications) embodies the methods and apparatus that allow an intelligent RF unit to communicate with multiple types of radio frequency identification tags that are commercially available. Additionally, the unit can communicate with any number of external devices, including but not limited to computer networks, which allow for dynamic access and updates to tailor the base unit for virtually any situation. The patent also covers the ability of that unit to intelligently route data through any number of external connections based on custom algorithms or business logic.

With (15) claims that embody all currently used communication and RFID protocol standards (like BlueTooth, RS232, USB, Ethernet, Wireless, T-carrier connections, FIREWIRE, Optical Fiber, ZIGBEE, and VOIP), this patent allows SAVR to very effectively serve the ever expanding commercial and industrial RFID (radio frequency identification) and M2M (machineto- machine) marketplaces, as well as the ever expanding RTLS (real time location systems) sector.
