RSI ID Technologies Announces Channel Partner Certification Program
Online training program designed to maximize RSI product and RFID technology awareness
San Diego, CA — July 2, 2007 — RSI ID Technologies (RSI), a leading manufacturer of RFID antennas, inlays and tags, announced today the introduction of their RFID Channel Partner Certification Program. The comprehensive, Web-based program includes a 13-course curriculum, which is designed to maximize RFID industry knowledge, increase awareness of the RSI product line, and prepare participants for the CompTIA RFID+™ certification exam. "As both a systems integrator and RFID manufacturer, we've accumulated a wealth of knowledge over the years," said Wolf Bielas, CEO of RSI. "Our mission is to pass this information along to ensure that our customers are working with the most knowledgeable and professional RSI Channel Partners possible"
The program features the following core classes:
RFID Introduction, RFID Best Practices, RFID Supply Chain, RFID ROI, RSI Reader Knowledge, RFID Testing and Troubleshooting, RFID Standards and Regulations, RSI Tag Knowledge, RFID Design Selection, RFID Installation, RFID Site Analysis, RF Physics, and RFID Peripherals.
Each course is designed to test the Channel Partner's knowledge of the subject matter before and after the course and then compare the results to ensure that a firm grasp of the material has been attained. Upon completion of all 13 courses, graduates will receive a certificate of completion, as well as earn the distinction of becoming an RSI RFID Certified Channel Partner.
Bielas added, "Training our Channel Partners has always been important to us. In the past, we've handled partner training on an individual basis, but with the introduction of our online training portal we're able to bring our growing list of partners up to speed much more quickly and effectively."
