When field technicians can’t communicate effectively with each other, then they can’t efficiently do their jobs. For companies with widely dispersed teams of technicians that work on large job sites, two-way radios are a critical tool. But if the radios aren’t working, the employees using them can have a hard time getting their work done.

Industrial Light and Power (ILP) is a commercial/ industrial electrical contractor in Las Vegas that specializes in high-voltage power distribution, commercial and industrial power systems, large format lighting systems, and energy retrofit projects. The company recently upgraded its wireless radios to a new digital solution that operates on a local repeater network and, as a result, has reported a nearly 50 percent productivity increase thanks to better communications.
