Recursion Partners With Qatalys On Healthcare M2M And Other Pervasive Applications
Recursion Software, a visionary leader in the pervasive platform and mobile middleware space, announced that it has partnered with Qatalys, a provider of end-to-end application development services, to deliver a new breed of M2M applications that incorporate data collaboration and in-state application transfer between devices such as phones, sensors, laptops, netbooks, routers and other mobile and embedded devices. The partnership leverages Recursion's patented technology with Qatalys' implementation expertise to deliver solutions targeting the healthcare and retail industries. A demo of this exciting new technology will be unveiled at CTIA in Recursion's Booth #650.
The M2M market represents the next new growth market for mobile applications. Recursion's pervasive platform Voyager will enable devices as small as sensors to act as both an intelligent client and server that will dynamically discover each other and share or access remote application and sensor data via communities hosted directly on the device. The result is a highly efficient distributed knowledge network of devices collaborating P2P at the edge of the network. There is tremendous demand for M2M applications benefiting from these capabilities in the healthcare and retail segments. They range from medical record collaboration and mobilization, to use in medical sensor monitoring and alert systems. In the retail arena, automated inventory tracking and auditing systems, as well the capability to take consumer mobile shopping and payment transactions beyond SMS are now possible.
Recursion will rely on Qatalys' regulatory knowledge and track record delivering enterprise mobile applications to transform Voyager's functional capabilities into market-ready applications. "Our customers are demanding ever-more complex solutions built on our platform and Qatalys' expertise is a natural complement to ours," said Bob DeAnna, CTO of Recursion Software. "Their impressive critical enterprise applications portfolio in several of the specific segments we are targeting, healthcare, service, retail and logistics, gives us confidence that they will help us deliver the innovation our customers are accustomed to."
"We are excited about the partnership with Recursion, as it augments our technologies and supports our commitment to ensure, that our clients leverage the destined mobile technologies for their success," said Rao Telidevara, President, Qatalys, Inc. "Recursion's Voyager has the capabilities and robustness that helps Qatalys to deliver complex M2M and end-to-end applications with low implementation risks and tremendous ROI to our clients."
Recursion Software will showcase a demo illustrative of these forthcoming applications as well as conduction interviews in Booth #650, across from Sprint.
