Rapidly Expanding ExpeData Healthcare Partner Ecosystem Product Announcements During HIMSS 2012

ExpeData, an innovative software company and global leader in natural input technologies, is pleased to announce that partners in its growing healthcare industry network will have both product announcements and onsite presence during HIMSS 2012 in Las Vegas.

With the passage of the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act in 2009, EHR adoption is continuing to gain momentum and ExpeData partners are leading the way in overcoming adoption barriers with easy to implement solutions leveraging the power of natural input technologies. ExpeData's solutions for the Healthcare industry automate mobile data collection workflows using Anoto digital pens and tablet devices (iOS and Android). The solutions leverage natural input such as handwriting to ease the transition to electronic medical records while increasing staff productivity with less time processing paperwork and more time caring for patients.

ExpeData partners including Integrated Document Solutions (IDS), Nightingale Informatix Corporation, and Centrix Group leverage the EDW platform for mobile data collection with digital pen and tablets.

Integrated Document Solutions (IDS), a healthcare technology firm providing solutions for clinical documentation and complex workflows in the cloud, will showcase digital writing technology leveraging digital pen and tablets with naturalFORMS in booth 8910. IDS will be showing the digital writing technology integrated with their workflow portal AbbaDox. IDS will demonstrate how patient intake and triage forms can be completed easily using natural input.

Nightingale Informatix Corporation, (TSXV: NGH) one of the fastest growing health care service and software companies in North America and a recognized industry leader in Web-based clinician and community based electronic medical records (EMR) and patient portals, will announce the first product from the Clinipen joint venture with ExpeData. Clinipen products offer a major breakthrough in EMR data entry, as they will allow healthcare providers to continue using their current paper forms to document patient encounters and write prescriptions, making the transition from paper records to EMR as seamless as possible for physicians.

Centrix Group, a practice management company with an outstanding reputation in anesthesia, mobile anesthesia, hospitalist, and emergency medicine, has integrated the digital writing technology provided by ExpeData into its cloud-based EHR system. The solution leverages digital pens to capture the data at the point of care and integrate directly into the records system. The solution will be available in March of this year.

ExpeData is currently expanding its healthcare partner ecosystem to further address market needs. ExpeData representatives will be onsite at HIMSS and available for pre-set appointments. For more information on the ExpeData partner program, visit http://www.expedata.net.
