Venttex cuts paperwork handling by half with a mobile scheduling and work order management solution.
Rapid growth can be both a blessing and curse for small companies; when business expands quickly, manual processes can bog down productivity and impair customer service. Venttex, a Georgetown, TX-based vent service company, responded to its own explosive growth by deploying a mobile field service solution.
Venttex provides chimney sweeping, dryer vent cleaning, commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning, and other air exhaust and duct services. With just four employees (including owner Gerald Hoard Jr.), the company started small, but recently saw its customer base rapidly expand after receiving positive referrals in a large retirement community. “We went from servicing 200 houses to more than 1,000 within a month,” Hoard says. “It got overwhelming very quickly, and I knew I needed to find some sort of automated system that could handle all these tasks, and I knew it needed to be mobile.”
