Qv21 Releases Ground-Breaking Logistics Field Mobility Features
Qv21 Technologies, Inc. announced recently the release of multiple new logistics field mobility features integrated with The LogisticsFramework product suite. The new field mobility features include driver-initiated load assignments, polygonal geofencing, IFTA reporting and mobile dispatching among other new innovations. These cutting edge developments join Qv21 Technologies’ state of the art Dispatch, MobileComms, GeoTrack, DataSync, EOBR and DVIR Modules, enabling greater visibility, flexibility and profitability for trucking logistics companies.
Integrated with Qv21’s existing modules and used in conjunction with The LogisticsFramework, drivers can now easily and electronically define or re-define their load assignments as per company policy while they remain in compliance with multiple D.O.T. regulations Adaptability and flexibility are key components to optimizing opportunities and adjusting to changing circumstances. Fleet managers maintain a real-time view of loads as well as which drivers and vehicles are compliant. Significant new features enhance the capabilities as one readily available mobile device provides six critical functions: EOBR, DVIR, real-time dispatching and data collection, electronic ticketing, real-time GPS tracking, and driver/dispatcher messaging.
“These are significant additional elements in Qv21’s expanding feature set for oilfield trucking companies and other truckers hauling bulk commodities”, said Scott Greeson, Vice President of Operations for Qv21 Technologies, Inc. “Driver efficiency, flexibility and safety have always been major focal points in the transportation industry. Efficient, safe, compliant drivers not only reduce risk, they also add value to the tasks they perform. Now, dispatchers and managers as well as drivers have real time awareness of the drivers’ duty status, miles driven, and driving records as well as a real-time understanding of their vehicles’ operational status. Drivers are also now empowered to make the necessary decisions to increase their own value to the company, reducing overall costs and accelerating ROI on behalf of the company.”
“Drivers are not the only employees whose productivity is further enhanced through The LogisticsFramework and its enhanced field mobility features. Recently upgraded features allow dispatchers on the go to remotely dispatch vehicles using laptops in the field, and back in the office, administrative staff find run ticket reconciliation far less time consuming and more accurate when using Logistics Imaging, a side by side comparison between the electronically collected, stored and transmitted data and photographic images of the field-printed paper run ticket.” Greeson said. “The transportation companies that service the oilfields, agriculture, mining or waste facilities can all reduce risk and exploit opportunities in real-time as they more fully realize the power of complete situational awareness of their resources and a wider array of choices open to them. Our new field mobility features provide another major step forward in providing cost-effective solutions to the bulk commodity supply chain.”
Greeson said that Qv21 Technologies prides itself in listening to customers in order to find out how best to approach and solve the problems they face. “We’re here to help solve the real world logistics issues that our customers face, and provide them with truly cost-effective solutions. Every company works differently in order to achieve maximum value. With our newly released field mobility features, managers can choose to utilize the efficiencies that best fit their own business model and method of operation. Our new field mobility features directly add flexibility and situational awareness while lowering labor costs and tax liabilities. Whether we’re helping drivers adapt to changing situations or dispatchers remain on the go while efficiently performing their tasks, Qv21 is here to help keep commodities rolling smoothly, safely and more cost-effectively.”
