Protect Your Drivers And Your Fleet With Satellite Integration Coverage

Source: Verizon Networkfleet

Enhance safety and asset tracking in remote areas lacking cellular coverage.

When your fleet travels to remote locations or areas where safety is a concern, the ability to consistently track its whereabouts not only helps protect drivers, it gives you greater peace of mind that your employees and assets are accounted for. But those same locations often lack sufficient cellular coverage, which makes reliable fleet monitoring a challenge.

By adding satellite integration coverage to your Verizon Networkfleet®-equipped vehicles, you can rest assured they’ll continue to transmit critical information, regardless of access to cellular coverage. An expanded communications capability developed specially for our patented telematics fleet management solution, satellite coverage combines cellular and satellite communications to provide comprehensive vehicle tracking – letting you stay in touch with every vehicle in your fleet – any vehicle, virtually anywhere.

HOW IT WORKS

The solution uses a satellite modem to connect directly with the Networkfleet 5000 series GPS tracking device. When the modem detects that a vehicle has traveled outside of cellular coverage, it automatically redirects vehicle data to the satellite network.
