Paxar Unveil Its HF RFID Printer At RFID Journal Live
WHITE PLAINS, NY, April 16, 2007 — Paxar Corporation (NYSE: PXR), a global leader providing bar code, RFID and identification technologies for the retail supply chain and the supplier of Monarch® products and services, today announced plans to unveil its new Monarch® 9855HFTM high frequency (HF) radio frequency identification (RFID) printer/encoder at the RFID Journal Live tradeshow held in Orlando, Florida April 30 through May 2, 2007.
The new HF printer complements Paxar's existing Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Monarch® 9855RFMPTM printer and it supports a number of HF protocols including ISO15693 and ISO18003. The addition will provide Paxar customers with more options for item-level RFID tracking, better penetration with liquids and compatibility with HF protocols used globally.
In July 2007, the market release of the Monarch® 9855HFTM printer, will signal Paxar's readiness to manufacture and sell a full range of HF RFID labels and tags in a wide variety of form factors to support manufacturers' and retailers' item-level RFID needs.
