Paper Isn't Safe!

Let’s face it – paper isn’t safe.  It can be easily destroyed, damaged or lost.  There are multiple ways a paper document can be modified or altered that are almost impossible to detect.  Have you ever tried to track down an important document that is “missing” only to find it at the bottom of a pile on someone’s desk? What about trying to generate analytics from a piece of paper, or paper trail?  There’s no such thing!

It’s a no brainer that it’s not safe for the environment either.  Over $100,000,000 each year is spent by US companies on paper alone! Millions of trees are cut down each year just for paper use, and almost half of that paper (about 45%) ends up in the trash by the end of the business day. (Checkout our blog on The Real Cost of Paper for more stats on paper)

There must be a better way…

Well there is – and it’s not as complicated as you might think.  Today, there are new procedures for documenting critical and sensitive information causing waves of digital transformation all over the world.  Additionally, declining costs of powerful, lightweight mobile devices and increases in cellular connectivity are also adding to the monumental trend towards digital/mobile forms.
