Q&A: Panasonic Introduces The H1 Field

On February 10th, Panasonic Computer Solutions Company introduced its newest product — the Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field rugged handheld tablet computer. The 3.4-pound H1 Field combines MIL-STD-810G and IP65 ruggedness with integrated RFID and bar code scanners, camera, GPS, and Qualcomm's Gobi 2000 mobile broadband technology. I recently spoke with Kyp Walls, director of product management at Panasonic, to discuss the new product and the impact it will have on the enterprise mobile workforce.
