Overcoming Cellular Connectivity Challenges

If you’ve ever been frustrated by limited cellular coverage, poor voice quality or slow data transfers in your home or office, you are certainly not alone. Millions of people in North America deal with these problems daily.

Blaming your cellular service provider is too easy and often unwarranted. In many cases the cell signal outside a building is sufficiently strong to deliver fast downloads and clear conversations. It’s only when the customer goes inside the building that service begins to diminish as signals are blocked by roof and walls.

Regardless why you may experience these problems, there are reasonably priced devices available that can relieve your cell service frustrations. These fall into two categories – femtocells and signal boosters. Both work well, but take different technical approaches to improving cell coverage and addressing the related problems.
