Numerex Joins Sprint To Extend Range Of Wireless Services To The M2M Market

Atlanta, GA /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Numerex Corp. (Nasdaq: NMRX), a leading single source provider of secure machine-to-machine (M2M) products and services, today announced a wholesale data agreement that will give the Numerex customers access to an extended range of technological and market opportunities. "Our services agreement with Numerex opens up new opportunities to accelerate our expansion into a growing M2M market," said Danny Bowman, president of Integrated Solutions Group, Sprint. Numerex FAST™, which is an Open Platform-as-a-Service-based framework, speeds up and smoothes out the M2M product launch. Numerex's customers are dealers, distributors, and other businesses, which serve the end-user market.

Numerex is one of the most experienced M2M full-service providers in the United States, enabling its customers to deploy secure and scalable M2M solutions to any market around the world. "The combination of Sprint's technology and services with Numerex's development and deployment competencies augment the number of choices for our customers," said Mike Marett, Chief Operating Officer of Numerex. "Our agreement with Sprint underscores our ongoing commitment to providing a versatile M2M platform that is well suited to a diverse spectrum of markets and industries."
