The District Public Health Offices in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn are tasked with various community health initiatives. One of those initiatives is the Newborn Home Visiting Program (NHVP). In NHVP, community health workers visit the homes of new mothers in certain neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Manhattan.
