NCR AND THE KENNEDY GROUP ANNOUNCE PLANS TO COLLABORATE IN MARKETING OF NCR AIDC SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio and ATLANTA, June 28, 2007 — NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) and The Kennedy Group announced they are planning to jointly market NCR’s automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) software to The Kennedy Group’s customers in the consumer goods manufacturing (CGM) and other markets throughout the United States.

NCR’s AIDC software is offered by the company’s AIDC Solutions Group, a unit of the NCR Retail, Hospitality and Self-Service Solutions Division. NCR provides a suite of packaged applications that organize and communicate data collected through RFID, bar-code, biometrics, voice and other AIDC technologies. The NCR AIDC software suite currently includes Asset Visibility, Inventory Visibility and Retail RFID Compliance.

Headquartered in Willoughby, Ohio, The Kennedy Group provides turnkey RFID solutions that are compatible with EPCglobal standards and fully integrated with their customers’ existing systems.

“NCR’s AIDC software accelerates the deployment of key processes, providing rapid implementation and return on investment,” said The Kennedy Group President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Kennedy. “These applications are a great complement to the RFID solutions offered by The Kennedy Group, and we look forward to working with NCR to offer and deliver them to our customers.”

The companies said they expect to complete a reseller agreement naming The Kennedy Group as a member of the NCR RealPartner program. Under the agreement, The Kennedy Group will sell and integrate NCR AIDC software as a key component of complete RFID solutions offered to The Kennedy Group customers.

“We also are working with The Kennedy Group to deploy our AIDC applications in their RFID Customer Solution Center,” said NCR AIDC Solutions Group Vice President and General Manager Donna Wright. “This 7,000-square-foot RFID center is a valuable resource for businesses looking to implement solutions that meet retailer mandates and EPCglobal standards, and is a great showcase for NCR’s powerful AIDC software.”

NCR’s packaged AIDC applications leverage the powerful NCR TransitionWorks™ software development platform. TransitionWorks is designed to readily assimilate and manage data from various AIDC devices, including RFID-based technologies, throughout the supply chain. TransitionWorks provides a rapid development environment that resolves the time-consuming and costly challenge of collecting, interpreting and moving massive amounts of data from multiple sources.

In an unrelated transaction, The Kennedy Group has acquired the assets of the RFID labeling business from NCR Systemedia, a separate division of NCR.
