Mobile Workforce: Navara Integration With BMC Remedy
Solution Value
Navara's Mobility Suite provides a low cost, high performance platform to extend the reach of AR System based applications to mobile workers. Business process and workflow can be automated to those who need to work productively on the go, even when disconnected from the network, using Blackberry, Windows Mobile, or other mobile devices. No code changes to your application, and implementation is completed in days, not months! Standard Remedy applications, such as helpdesk, change management, and asset management, as well as custom designed applications are supported. Users can view, modify, and create new AR System tickets while offline/disconnected.
Easy Integration: The API level interface to BMC Remedy applications. It includes a Mobility Wizard that allows Users and Forms to be imported into the Navara environment by a simple drag and drop process. Navara also offers ODBC, XML Flat File, Http, and SOAP adapters so that companies can mobilize data from multiple applications with a single platform. Data from multiple applications can be combined for a single view on a mobile form created in Navara's Mobility Suite.
Intuitive Configuration: Includes the Administration functions and the Design Center. Administrative functions are easily managed using a Microsoft Management Console plug-in. The Design Center is Navara's unique process of creating forms for various types of screen sizes of today's mobile devices. Using the simple drag and drop approach, fields and screens are fully functional in minutes, with no coding required. Develop new screens and add new fields as the AR System applications change and grow.
Mobile Client: Navara supports devices that run using any iteration of Microsoft Windows (including Windows Mobile 6.0), Blackberry OS devices. Navara systems support multiple devices on multiple networks, so any combination of platforms may be used. Our client software allows users to remain productive, even when disconnected from the network. Should they lose the signal mid-transmission, Navara retains the work on the mobile device, and re-sends completely when back on the network.
Mobile workers can access critical and current information by any form of TCP/IP communications (cradle, WIFI, dial-up, GPRS, EDGE and 3G (HSDPA), - Navara is engineered to support any TCP/IP network on the horizon such as WiMax) or by attaching directly to their network infrastructure to get their assignments and information. Any method of encryption or compression may be used to secure the connection. Field level data may be optionally encrypted on the device, so your data is safe even if lost or stolen.
