Mobile Validation: Apacheta Software Receives Motorola SymbolPLUS Validation

Apacheta Corporation, a mobile business software provider, announced recently that has been granted Motorola SymbolPLUS Validated status through completing Motorola's Solutions Validation Program. Apacheta had its RouteACE solution validated after completing a series of testing objectives and customer usage scenarios, confirming compatibility between Motorola mobile computers and Apacheta's mobile infrastructure and workflow applications.

The testing and validation demonstrates that Apacheta mobile workflow applications install and function successfully on the Motorola MC70 enterprise digital assistant (EDA) and MC9090-K rugged mobile computer over wireless LAN and wireless WAN networks, including Cingular and Sprint. Applications were also tested with O'Neil Bluetooth-enabled printers including the MF8i-270 dot matrix and MF4T.

"This solution testing and validation further strengthens our commitment to delivering solutions that are fast and easy to deploy and maintain – providing the lowest total cost ownership," stated Jim Collins, Sr. VP of Operations for Apacheta Corporation.

Motorola's Solutions Validation Program enables partners to test and validate their mobility solutions on Motorola products to help ensure interoperability and meet the customer application-specific needs, as well as reduce both the risk level and the time to deployment for the customer. Working closely with engineering teams, RouteACE has been tested and co-validated on select products, including the MC70 EDA and MC9090-K rugged mobile computer.

The terms of the validation, including disclaimers, are set forth in the test agreement between Motorola and Apacheta and the Mobility Validated Solution Validation Report.
