Mobile Devices: Nordic ID And TEKLYNX International Sign Partnership Agreement

Nordic ID and TEKLYNX International signed a partnership, recently, at Euroshop in Düsseldorf, Germany, announcing that the two companies will work together to enhance new Nordic ID Morphic and PL3000 RFID mobile devices with TEKLYNX' IDEAM mobile application software.

Nordic ID, one of the leading manufacturers of wireless terminals and handheld instruments and the leader in mobile RFID technology is known for ergonomic, easy-to-use, easy-to-integrate modern mobile communication and data collection products.

TEKLYNX International is the world's leading developer of software products for the AIDC marketplace. IDEAM is an application generation tool used to develop data collection applications for portable terminals. IDEAM offers form-based development environment to quickly create user interface screens and can generate device independent applications.

TEKLYNX International is proud to announce a partnership with NORDIC ID which will allow IDEAM to securely implant itself in the market by taking full advantage of the features and performance of the NORDIC ID terminals, says Benoît Walczak, Director of Sales at TEKLYNX International.

The IDEAM range is part of a global software suite whose versatility can provide anything from data collection to barcode printing and thus, bring a high value and a unique solution to our partners and customers.

The partnership ensures that Nordic ID's Morphic and PL3000 mobile data terminals are compatible with IDEAM. In the mobile devices, Nordic ID has combined powerful data collection, processing and storing capacity with a variety of wireless communication technologies, including 2G/3G, WLAN and Bluetooth. Through this partnership, at the customer's request, IDEAM can be integrated into the Nordic ID mobile platform so that the user can take full advantage of Nordic ID's hand held terminal while benefiting from the advantages that only IDEAM can provide - IDEAM applications run as native clients on portable terminals allowing them to perform much faster than Web-based and Java applications.

With the help of IDEAM software our partners and customers now have more possibilities to fasten their application development processes and thus ensure the ease of use and the fast return of their investment in mobile data management, says Mr Atte Kaskihalme, Sales Director at Nordic ID.
