There's no denying the fact that implementing technology can solve a variety of business problems and have a substantial impact on efficiency. When a company first automates a manual process using mobile technology, the productivity gains are often staggering. But, once you've made the transition to mobile technology, you quickly grow accustomed to that improved productivity — and the new level of performance you know your workers can achieve becomes the norm. It takes no time at all for the snaillike, paper-and-pencil pace of work to be forgotten. Until your mobile technology gets old and breaks — then it all comes rushing back. But, somehow, what was once acceptable no longer is. Going back to the old way isn't an option, so the question becomes, "Can I repair this, or do I need to invest in newer technology?"
