Microsoft Certified Partner: DataViz, Inc. Earns Certified Partner Status In Microsoft's Partner Program

DataViz, Inc., leading provider of Office compatibility solutions for over 22 years, today announced it has earned certified status in Microsoft's Partner Program, which recognizes DataViz and their impact in the technology marketplace. This designation highlights DataViz' expertise in mobility surrounding Microsoft Exchange 2003 as the company earned the Mobility Solutions Competency in order to gain acceptance as a Certified Partner. As a Certified Partner, DataViz has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven ability to meet customer needs. Microsoft Certified Partners receive a rich set of benefits, including access, training and support, which give them a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

In March 2005, DataViz licensed Microsoft's Exchange ActiveSync protocol to integrate into its RoadSync product line. RoadSync offers secure, wireless, direct push synchronization of corporate e-mail, attachments, calendar and contacts for a number of popular mobile platforms including Series 80, UIQ 2, Palm, Java MIDP and soon S60 and UIQ 3.0. In addition, DataViz has recently announced that it will extend the Microsoft Exchange 2003 Service Pack 2 mobility features, including Direct Push and Remote Wipe security, to popular Windows Mobile 2003 phones. This will offer similar functionality as the MSFP (Microsoft Security and Feature Pack) for Windows Mobile 5.

In addition to earning certified status, DataViz has declared a Mobility Solutions Competency. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner's capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.

The Mobility Solutions Competency demonstrates a proven competency in developing and deploying Windows Mobile-based solutions and applications using Microsoft tools and software. This will include Mobility independent software vendors, systems integrators, Mobility custom application developers, consultants and Mobile Solutions resellers.
