Mentor Work Alone Pendant
Where are your field operators? If answering this question is a challenge, improving safety is a challenge too. Without an accurate way to track field operators, quickly sending help in an emergency situation can be difficult. Having field operators regularly check in with office staff can be time consuming for everyone, and piecing together the details of an accident close to impossible. Here's where a workforce management system comes in:
Know Where They Are
Automatic Vehicle Location lets you track the precise location of field operators all the time. On-screen icons give you a visual of field operator activity so emergency responders can be sent to an accident scene in an instant. You can also find and dispatch the closest company vehicles.
Know What They're Doing
Throughout the day everything field operators do—from logon to logoff, even vehicle speed—is automatically time-stamped and captured, and contact with head office is maintained. With this historical record you can easily pull up accurate details in the event of an accident, minimizing liability claims and preventing future incidents. If a field operator is motionless for a specified amount of time, the office is alerted.
Keep Lone Workers Safe
Field operators are equipped with an intrinsically-safe work-alone pendant to maintain contact with the office when working away from the vehicle. The pendant can be activated by clicking the button at pre-determined time frames to send an 'okay' status to the office. The office is automatically alerted if the pendant has been motionless for a specified amount of time or if an operator misses a scheduled check-in. Once an alert is triggered, the escalation path is customizable.
