How does ServiceCEO making running your HVAC business easier?

It's nice to have the ability to run my business anywhere. It's web-based, so I can open ServiceCEO's dispatch board up at home, because often I take calls during the evening, and schedule jobs from my house. Now this means that I don't have to run into the office in the morning and enter a bunch of calls in; I can enter them as they come. This makes so much less work for me to do each morning.

Can you describe challenges you had with running your HVAC business prior to ServiceCEO?

I would wind up doubling up on calls and overbooking because I didn't have the scheduling sitting in front of me. ServiceCEO prevents me from double booking and has already eliminated problems that I used to have.

Did you look at any other software before you chose ServiceCEO?

We did. We looked at a few others. One of the programs we looked at you had to buy an entire software program, and then pay additional money for extra people to use it. The big selling point on the ServiceCEO application was being able to add more users and it not costing any more money. We didn't see anything else that did this.

What was it about ServiceCEO that made you choose it?

The pricing structure, the pay-per-work order, the feature set - it's all good. As you know, ServiceCEO can be used for all types of service businesses, why did

you opt to use this instead of a more industry-specific application?

Because ServiceCEO fit all of our needs and was so much easier to use. Listen, we are just fifteen guys running ten trucks with one office. ServiceCEO has everything these other systems have, but is easier to use and more accessible.

What advice would you give another service business owner that is looking at a service management solution?

You've got to find something that's comfortable for you to work with. After looking at everything out there,I knew ServiceCEO was the way to go.
