Designed for CLECs (competitive local exchange carriers), ILECs (incumbent local exchange carriers), cable MSOs (multiple system operators), VARs (value added resellers), equipment vendors with an existing server-based solution, and other service providers, WMI helps wholesale partners enter the wireless arena by offering a compelling mobile bundle with their core business voice solutions. Sprint also provides a comprehensive MVNO Starter Kit for traditional wireline voice providers that delivers all the tools needed to fast-track the integration of wireless into business operations.

For Sprint’s wholesale partners, WMI deepens existing customer relationships and drives additional revenue. Also, because the service is network-based, it presents an opportunity to decrease necessary capital expenditures on additional premise-based equipment, optimize local PRI trunk utilization, and preserve the native performance of the mobile handset, since SIP clients and applications are not required.
