Glacier Computer Partners With DRS Tactical Systems To Sell Walkabout Computers

Glacier Computer, LLC, announces its partnership with DRS Tactical Systems, Inc., a unit of DRS Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: DRS), to resell DRS's WalkAbout line of rugged industrial tablet PCs. By combining DRS' WalkAbout hardware with Glacier's new line of GX series computers, Glacier delivers state-of-the-art solutions and services to its customers who require efficient and easy-to-use computers in warehouses, factories, public safety vehicles and utility trucks.

Glacier Computer, a leading supplier of industrial, full-screen PCs used in fixed- and vehicle-mount locations, was recently named to Entrepreneur Magazine & PricewaterhouseCoopers' Hot 100 List for the Fastest Growing New Businesses in the United States. DRS Tactical Systems is the leading supplier of rugged and ultra-rugged MOTS computers, displays and integrated display consoles for defense applications.

DRS's WalkAbout portable devices deliver tablet PC or XP computing power to users requiring mobility and ease of use and complement Glacier's existing line of fixed-mount industrial PCs.
