FARO Technologies manufactures the FARO measuring arm—a portable measurement device that is lightweight, durable and temperaturecompensated to allow for work anywhere.

FARO requires mobile computing solutions as durable and lightweight as their own product to work in conjunction with their high-tech arm. The search for the right solution was difficult.

According to Shawn Mymudes, the product manager of the FARO arm, Panasonic's mobile computing solutions were different from the rest. That's why FARO opted for Panasonic's Toughbook® 73s and Toughbook T2s.
