Executive Q&A: Tony Revis, General Manager, Portable Printer Division, Extech Instruments

Tony Revis is general manager of Extech Instruments’ Portable Printer Division, which designs, manufactures, and markets small, lightweight, battery operated, portable printers for mobile computing and other industrial applications. Revis directs design, engineering, operations, and service, as well as sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Extech, Revis served as president of Psion Inc., a handheld computing solutions provider. His career experience also includes industrial engineering, labor relations, finance, and marketing, in addition to product and general management.

Revis holds a BSc degree in chemistry from the University of London (England) and an MA in business analysis from Lancaster University (England). He has taught classes in marketing, sales promotion, and statistics at Boston University. He is a member of the Academy of Marketing Science, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and the British Institute of Management.

We recently caught up with Revis to discuss his views on the mobile printing market.
