Q&A: Datalogic Introduces A New Wave Of Mobile Device Flexibility
By Sarah Howland, Editor In Chief, Field Technologies
At the end of November, Datalogic introduced a brand new mobile device – the Lynx PDA. In a time where the mobile device options are virtually limitless, we thought it would be beneficial to sit down with Brigida Bellini, the product manager for the Lynx at Datalogic, to get her take on what sets the Lynx PDA apart from other mobile devices on the market today.
Field Technologies: Why did Datalogic decide to introduce the Lynx? What need do you feel the Lynx addresses in the marketplace?
Bellini: The Lynx PDA is born from Datalogic’s extensive experience in the world of mobile computing, combining our legendary ergonomics with state of the art technology. The Lynx PDA is a new PDA designed for applications where compactness, mobility, speed, and reliability are the key traits.
Datalogic’s mobile computer family includes many different products (the Falcon X3, Skorpio X3, and the Memor) and can now offer a choice in the PDA line: either the Elf or the Lynx PDA.
