Data Sheet: Trimble Juno® T41™ Rugged Handheld Computer

The Trimble Juno T41 rugged handheld computer is designed for use with any part of your mobile workforce. It is a powerful, connected, and compact solution with the convenience and ease-of-use of a smartphone while having the durability and long-term support that you cannot find with smartphones.

The Juno T41 features voice, SMS text, and 3.75G cellular data transfer via GSM cellular networks and provides access via Wi-Fi or WWAN connections. It comes equipped with an 8 megapixel camera that can incorporate time and location data from the GPS receiver. It runs on a 1 GHz processor with 512 MB RAM for running software applications fast and reliably.

The Juno T41 can withstand water, dust, shock, drop, vibration, and extreme temperatures and features a Gorilla® Glass panel to survive hostile conditions in the field. The screen is a 4.3” high resolution capacitive touchscreen that is sunlight-readable. It has multi-touch support and an optional capacitive stylus for screen input. It runs on either Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 or the Android 2.3.4 ‘Gingerbread’ operating systems. Software Developer Kits (SDKs) for both operating systems allow the creation of custom application software to easily interface with many of the build-in sensors, radios, and data ports.
