Executive Outlook: Consider Your Wireless Coverage Options

There is much in the news as well as many recent studies available showing the value of real-time mobility solutions. Companies that have implemented such solutions are able to deliver better customer service, increase efficiencies of mobile workers, and reduce costs. But there are many more companies who have not yet implemented mobility solutions. One of the factors slowing adoption is the ongoing monthly cost of the wireless service.

Most companies investigating real-time mobility solutions contact their wireless carrier representative for wireless data services. When they do, they are presented with traditional wireless service plans used for smartphones and other traditional cellular devices. This also means that the mobility devices will connect to the network in the same manner as smartphones and will be billed on the same invoice as smartphones at the end of the month. This is equivalent to buying wireless services at retail rather than wholesale.
